Mr. Nance has 16 years of surge protection project management experience and is considered a TVSS expert by Industry peers. Currently a member of NFPA, AFAA, and The Florida Fire Marshals and Inspectors Association, Curtis is also a Certified CEU Instructor registered in multiple states including FL, GA, AL, NC, SC, and TN. His training seminars have included topics such as Proper Grounding Techniques, Ideal Product Technology Determination and Best Management Practices. He is a past Treasurer of the Florida Burglar and Fire Alarm Association. Mr. Nance is also a Nationally published author with articles appearing in high profile Industry periodicals such as SDM and Security Sales & Integration, magazines. His pioneering product development idea's have immeasurably impacted many industries, companies, and people.
As the Director of Sales for the Southeast US & Caribbean for Avigilon, Brian Giampaoli is responsible for managing the sales team to bring High Definition Video Surveillance and Digital Video Recording solutions to corporate & government customers and developing commercial & distribution sales channels.
Mr. Giampaoli joined Avigilon in November 2007 and brings with him more than 28 years of experience in the security industry. Prior to joining Avigilon, Mr. Giampaoli was Regional Sales Manager for 3VR Security, where he was responsible for bringing intelligent video solutions to financial and corporate customers in the Southeast US from January 2006 until February 2007. From March 2005 to January 2006, Mr. Giampaoli was Regional Sales Manager for Infinova Networks, where he was responsible for developing commercial & distribution channels in the knowledge of IP based Video Management Solutions in the Southeast US. From May 2003 to February 2005, Mr. Giampaoli was Regional Sales Manager for March Networks, where he was responsible for developing commercial and US Federal Government projects in the Northeast & Mid-Atlantic US. From December 1999 to August 2002 he was Regional Sales Manager with Silent Witness Enterprises and the former GYYR (now acquired by Honeywell) where he was Business Development Manager and was responsible for managing manufacturer's representatives and system integrators along the entire East Coast. From June 1992 to December 1999 Brian was Area Sales Manager for Westinghouse Security Electronics, an access control and building integration manufacturer.
Mr. Giampaoli holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from DePaul University in Chicago, IL. He is a member of American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) and is Level Two Certified (CHA-II) in Homeland Security by the American College of Forensic Examiners International, Inc.
Mr. Bindus has over a decade of experience in the HVAC industry, including product design, HVAC application nuances and practical business analytics. He currently serves as President of Bindus Manufacturing, LLC. Their main facility, located in Mooresville, NC, manufactures Aquecoil hydronic heating products which are HVAC accessories that provide heated air for homes, businesses, and institutions using existing hot water sources. When combined with a high efficiency boiler or water heater, the energy savings are significant and are a great improvement over other methods of space heating.
