EASE OF INSTALLATION 

E CLIPS Surge Protection Devices offer configurable designs that snap together and install as one device all while creating a single common ground. Additionally, the flexibility of din rail, snap track or through hole mounting allows an unprecedented level of simple, fast and secure mounting options.

The multiple mounting options that combine several units into one is not only easy to install, it is more aesthetically pleasing and simplifies grounding practices, while conserving space as compared to all other brands. Because our units have multi-mounting capabilities and are modular in design they are also scalable. Add-on to or expand any CCTV, Security, or Fire System and simply add an E CLIPS module for protecting that move / add / change. When the individual modules are combined they create one central point of protection, creating a tailored product with a uniform grounding system. In the event a module needs to be changed or added, it can be done without removing the other modules from the din-rail.

 

The ABC Rule!!!

At E CLIPS we like to follow a simple installation practice we call the ABC Rule. Our objective is, to make the path of least resistance be to ground and not to the equipment that we’re protecting. Example: Lets call your equipment ‘A’, the E CLIPS surge protector ‘B’, and ground ‘C’. Making the leads between ‘A’ (your equipment) and ‘B’ (surge protector) greater than the distance between ‘B’ (surge protector) and ‘C’ (ground) will greatly increase the performance of the surge suppressor.
