When selecting the proper TVSS device, always determine these factors.
1. What is the peak operating voltage required for proper system function for my application? (What's the voltage?)
2. Will proper system function require more than, or less than 150ma of current for my application? (Is there over or under 150ma of current?)
3. What is the total number of conductors (including ground wires or shielding, which is to be terminated or treated as a conductor), requiring protection for my application. (How many wires?)
4. How do these wires / conductors terminate at the point in which I intend to introduce TVSS in my application. (How does it connect?)
